Sasha Andrews – women's soccer/football

Sasha was 19 years old when she won her first cup with Canada’s senior team on 1 March 2002 at the Algarve Cup (a 3:0 win over Scotland) and her achievements didn’t stop there.

Sasha’s team finished second with Canada at the 2002 CONCACAF Women’s Gold Cup where she scored her first two goals with the senior team in back-to-back wins over México (8:0 win on 8/31/2003; 6:0 win on 9/4/2003). Sasha went on to win a silver medal with Canada at the FIFA U-19 Women’s World Championship Canada 2002. She also finished fourth with Canada at the FIFA Women’s World Cup USA 2003 and second with Canada at the 2006 Peace Queen Cup after a 0:1 loss to the United States in the final. Sasha and team finished second with Canada at the 2006 CONCACAF Gold Cup (she did not feature in a 1:2 loss to the United States in the final).

Sasha helped Canadian development team finish first at the 2007 International Soccer Festival in Alabama, won a bronze medal with Canada at the XV Pan American Games Rio 2007 and a World cup, 2009 Rome, Greece tour, Cypress cup second place

Sasha currently resides in Los Angeles, California, USA

W-league 8 years Vancouver Whitecaps, California Pali blues, FC Indiana…… heading into the combine for the WPS ( woman’s professional soccer) Draft….To be picked up and play 2010 WPS season.
